Shoya Tomizawa's funeral took place in a public service in Asahi, Japan, earlier today.The 19-year-old Japanese rider had lost his life in a crash during the Misano Moto2 race earlier this month, when he sustained multiple injuries when struck by two other riders following a fall in the lead pack.
Over a thousand guests attended the ceremony to pay their respects, including compatriots Moto2 rider Yuki Takahashi and 125cc racer Tomoyoshi Koyama.
